American Idol Experience and NAACP Image Award
Fantasia and other American Idol contestants were at Disney World today for the grand opening of the American Idol Experience.

Fantasia and Jennifer Hudson were also awarded a NAACP Image Award for their collaboration on Jennifer's album, "I'm His Only Woman." This is Fantasia's second win. Congrats ladies. Be sure to check the song out on I-tunes.

Grammy Fashion
Fantasia hit up Clive Davis' Pre-Grammy Gala Saturday night and the Grammys last night looking Fabulous! She recently told reporters that she's dropped twenty pounds.

Head of the Class
Fantasia recently reaffirmed her plans to obtain her high school diploma. She told E!
"I've been talking about it for so long. I have a lot of young people who look up to me, like my 15-year-old brother and 7-year-old daughter. It's something that I really need to do and that I want to do."

At Night to Remember featuring Fantasia
Fantasia will headline the annual "A Night to Remember" fundraising gala presented by Comcast on April 17 at the Chattanooga Convention Center.
The Chattanoogan reports the following:

She's Back!
The internet is buzzing from the news of Fantasia's return to "The Color Purple." Fantasia will be reprising her role as Ms. Celie for a limited time. BV's Jawn Murray reports:
BV Buzz has has learned exclusively that season three 'American Idol' winner Fantasia will return to the Oprah Winfrey-produced musical.
Beginning this summer, Fantasia will resume her role as Celie and embark on a three month run with the show, kicking off at The Kennedy Center in Washington, DC on June 30.
She will also play dates with 'The Color Purple' when the show travels to Chicago and Atlanta as well.
